A colour change can transform a room, but the preparation underneath is what gives the finish its quality. Art Boys provides interior painting and decorating for homes, offices and other commercial spaces across Dublin and Leinster.
We assess existing finishes, fresh plaster and areas needing repair, then agree the preparation and paint system before work starts. Floors, furniture and fittings are protected, and the sequence is planned around access and how the space is used.
Fresh plaster
Preparation and an appropriate first-coat system once plaster is sufficiently dry.
Surface preparation
Agreed filling, sanding, caulking and spot priming to create a sound base.

Can you paint an occupied home?
Yes. We discuss furniture, room access, drying time and the order of work so the project can be planned around the household.
Does painting include major plaster repairs?
Minor preparation can form part of the quote. Loose plaster, significant repairs or damp problems need to be assessed separately and resolved before decorating.
